FFA Members: There is a Haunted Forest meeting Tuesday, Oct 22nd during 8th hour resource in the Ag room.
The US Marine Corps runs a program called Toys for Tots, which collects new toy donations from the community in order to give those toys to children in need in local communities. One of our former graduates is a marine and brought in a collection box. The box is in the student office until December 11 if you’d like to donate.
Did you know that almost 15% of children 6–19 years of age have low- or high-frequency hearing loss in one or both ears, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Hearing loss in school-age children presents unique challenges. Overlooked, it can impact academics, social success, and behavior. Hearing Screenings will be offered to ALL Suring Elementary School students over the next couple of weeks. Middle and High School Students will only be screened if they are displaying signs or symptoms of a hearing loss.
