Suring Alumni Hall of Fame
Suring Senior High wishes to annually induct one or more distinguished alumni into the Suring Alumni Hall of Fame. The purpose is to provide inspirational role models to students through recognition of past alumni while promoting a legacy of community pride.
The charge of the Alumni Hall of Fame Selection Committee is to honor alumni who have gone on to experience personal success with their life endeavors. The committee should consider the following criteria in making the selection:
- Have graduated from Suring High twenty years prior to nomination.
- Have made a significant contribution to their employer, community, society through service or a distinguished career.
- Have demonstrated those qualities of character, citizenship, and service that form the foundation of a democratic and humane society.
The process for making a nomination is as follows:
- Application completed and signed by the person making the nomination.
- A letter stating why the nominee should be considered for the award detailing his/her contributions of field of work/study, to individual community, or to society as a whole.
- Nominations must be received by the district administrator by April 24 for spring induction.
- Nominations will remain active for five years. After five years they can be resubmitted.
- Up to two alumni will be inducted yearly into the Alumni Hall of Fame as selected by the Hall of Fame committee.
- Alumni Hall of Fame induction will take place along with graduation. A picture plaque will be awarded to the inductee and another placed on the wall of Suring High to honor all award winners.
Nomination forms are available in the student and district office or by accessing the Hall of Fame Application.
Questions should be directed to the district administrator at 920-842-2178 or caspke@suringk12.org.
