SURING PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT PUBLIC NOTICE OF SCHOOL BOARD VACANCY The Suring Public School District is seeking applications from qualified community members to fill a vacancy on the Board of Education. Qualifications: Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old, fulfilling the eligible elector requirements under Wisconsin Statute §6.02. The candidate must be a resident of the townships of Doty, Mountain, or Riverview. The term will run from the date of appointment to April 2027. The board functions as a decision-making body, providing policy and financial oversight to the district. The board seeks a collaborative individual, one who is able to represent and be open to diverse views and interested in making a thoughtful and powerful contribution to the school district and the children it serves. How to Apply: Declaration of Candidacy forms may be picked up at the Suring Public School District Office at 411 E. Algoma St., Suring, WI 54174. Please include a letter of interest outlining your qualifications. An election will be held in the School District of Suring on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed. The term of office for a school board member is three (3) years beginning on Monday, April 27, 2026.

Candidates
Except as otherwise provided under state law, a qualified elector of the School District who wishes to become a candidate and have their name appear on the election ballot for any of the school board seat(s) that will be contested at the 2026 Spring Election must file all necessary forms at the District
Office, 411 E. Algoma St., Suring, Wisconsin, by no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. The District Office will be closed for the holidays on Wednesday, December 24 through Friday, December 26, 2025, and Wednesday, December 31 through Friday, January 2, 2025.
